Jon Paul Vooys
P.App., CRA
Jon Paul Vooys is a seasoned real estate appraiser who began his career in 2005, receiving his designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2010. With 20 years of experience, Jon has appraised a wide range of residential properties in the Lower Mainland, with a primary focus on the Fraser Valley.
Jon was previously a co-owner of the successful appraisal firm Urban Valley Appraisals before launching A Fast Appraisal Service in 2024, marking a new chapter in his career.
Outside of work, Jon enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Corinne, as well as family and friends. He’s passionate about music, often writing and playing his own compositions, and stays active through competitive soccer, snowboarding, fishing, and golfing.

Josiah Vooys
AIC Candidate
Josiah is a Candidate Member of the Appraisal Institute of Canada and has been working through his candidacy since 2023. Growing up, he observed his father develop his appraisal business, which sparked his own interest in the industry. His journey in the field began in 2021 when he gained hands-on experience in report writing while completing his education at the UBC Sauder School of Business. Now, he is proud to work alongside his father as he builds his own career in appraising.
Prior to appraising, Josiah worked as a Seismic Safety Hold-down Installer and Estimator, contributing to the construction of six-story apartment buildings across the Greater Vancouver Area from 2019 to 2021. His background in construction gives him valuable insight into the industry, which he applies to his appraisal work.
Outside of work, Josiah enjoys automotive projects, spending time outdoors, and music. When there’s snow on the mountains, you can bet he’ll be there.

A FAST APPRAISAL SERVICE (AFAST) operates as a virtual office to minimize our carbon footprint and reduce environmental impact. Unless otherwise requested by the client, all communications—including the delivery of appraisal reports—are handled digitally. While AFAST primarily works virtually, we recognize that some situations may require in-person meetings to discuss complex assignments or address specific client needs. We are happy to meet clients at their place of business or at a mutually convenient location.
